Chi Omega and
Make-A-Wish Foundation®
Make-A-Wish Foundation® has been Chi Omega's national philanthropy for the past twelve years. The Make-A-Wish Foundation® enriches lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work. The Make-A-Wish® experience has a life-changing impact on children, families, referral sources, donors, sponsors, and entire communities. A wish experience is often a source of inspiration for children undergoing difficult medical treatments and a positive force that helps them overcome their obstacles. A wish experience is often more than a dream come true: It’s the catalyst that rekindles their belief in themselves and the promise of their future. Chi Omegas fundraise and volunteer for this wonderful Foundation to understand the importance of service to others as a founding principle of our Sisterhood.

Hello everyone!
With the help and dedication of our sisters, we plan and put together our annual philanthropy events that benefit the Make-A-Wish foundation in Central and South Texas. These events include our Color Me Chi O – 5K Color Run that takes place during the Fall semester, along with our Make-a-Waffle and Swishes for Wishes events in the Spring.
Our chapter is extremely dedicated to Make-A-Wish and the success of these events. Each year we have a great turn-out of 100+ participants at each event. At both Color Run and Make-a-Waffle, you will see most of our chapter either participating or helping facilitate the event, in order to make it the most that it can be. It's always a fun time for family, friends, and members of the San Marcos community to come out and participate. For all that Make-A-Wish does for kids, we are honored and overjoyed to contribute to their ability to grant a wish. For any questions about how you can help us grant a wish, you can reach out to us at
